100th Day

The kindergarten class will be celebrating their 100th day of school this week. The kids were asked to make a sign using 100 of "something", so we chose wiggle eyes.

Photography Challenge

Along with many other scrapbookers, I took on a challenge at the beginning of the month to take "a photo a day" during 2007. Even though I naturally take lots of photos, I don't take one every day. I started posting my photos on another blog, but decided to just include them here instead. These are the photos taken so far this month....not doing so well on the daily challenge am I? :-)

Also on the Honor Roll

Ally made the A-B honor roll this semester. She was VERY close to having all "A's" - only 1 point away! We are SO proud of her! The awards "ceremony" was held in the classroom, where they showed off all of their new, high-tech teaching toys. Each child has a little remote control and they push the buttons to answer the questions the teacher posts on the computer projector. Way different than when we were kids!

Honor Roll

Emily made the A Honor Roll again this semester. She's such a good student, and we are so proud of her. She didn't want me to take a picture of her at school, but I quickly snapped this one in the hallway (after everyone had gone back to their classroom of course). Not a great picture, but an important one.

A Found Treasure

I found an old disposable black & white film camera this morning. I had no idea what was on it, so I took it in for processing. There were a bunch of "junk" pictures, but there was also this really adorable photo of Miss C. This was taken on our first anniversary of her adoption date in 2002. I just love this picture!

Going Postal!

I just got a call this morning from the man at the Post Office who processed dd's passport application. He said that he was so busy on the day we were there that he forgot to include the check with our paperwork when he mailed it....ARGH! He said he had already called the passport agency and told them, so dd's paperwork will be on hold. Now we have to wait for that agency to send us a letter stating that no payment was included...then we'll mail them another check. What a pain!! :-(

First Time

OK, I've finally jumped into the world of blogging. I have no idea what I'm doing, but wanted to get accustomed to posting, so that we can hopefully "blog" our upcoming trip to China. I'm even going to attempt to add a silly photo (taken in Colorado).....fingers crossed that it works!
