Cross Country
Emily and Allyson are both on the school's cross-country team this year. During the team's first time-trial event (2 miles), both girls received medals for placing in the top ten! Way to run girls!

We were fortunate to be able to return to China with our oldest daughter for a "birth land tour", along with two of the families from our "gotcha" day group. You can read about our trip in the June 2007 archives (here).
We are looking forward to taking our younger children on a return trip as well.

Woohoo! Way to start (and excel) at a new sport!
Running is one of those things that can really become a life long passion. Plus the health benefits and opportunities that it presents. My folks are running the Big Sur marathon next year. Ah, the possibilities! :)
